Wonder
Author - R.J. Palacio
Grade/Reading Level Recommendation - 6 and up
Wonder is about this kid who was born with a disfigured face. His name is August. August finally decides to go to school because his mom had always homeschooled him. August is shy, funny, caring and helpful. When he gets there, he makes some enemies and makes some friends like Jack and Summer. What I like about the book is that there are six parts and each part is from the point of view of a different character. What I don't like about the book is that sometimes the kids can be really mean to August, like they made this thing that's kind of like the cheese touch in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but if you touch August you have to wash your hands in at least 30 seconds. You will like this book if you like books about friendship and a little comedy. I would rate this book about 5 stars out of 5 stars.
