Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Author – Jeff Kinney
Grade/Reading Level - 3-5
Have you ever felt as if you wanted to be in a book? Well if you read this book you will definitely feel as if you are.
Rowley and Greg are best friends. They go everywhere together like to the pool and other places like that. One day
they get in a humongous fight because they were doing a VIP lawn service. After sometime Rowley’s mom said that they would be so happy to let Greg go on the trip with them. Greg did not want to go at all but his mom said that he should go. And maybe he and Rowley would be friends again. When Greg’s brother Roderick gets in the way bad things happen. He tells Greg that if you ride the Cranium Shaker you will be seen as a man. Well now Greg wants to ride the roller coaster.
I feel as if the author’s message in writing this book is: People can be different. That relates to my life because
- Greg and Rowley get in a fight; I fight with my friends sometimes too.
- Greg and Rowley make a lawn service; I wanted to have a driveway shoveling service.
- Greg wanted to be in a commercial; I want to be in a movie.
If you like funny books and books that you want to relate to you this is that book. This book is awesome I would rate it at ten stars. Thank you so much for reading my review.
