cold Cereal
Author - Adam Rex
Grade/Reading Level - 6 and up
This book is about a boy named Scott who has hallucinations. He sees a rabbit-man who is on the run, mermaids and all things that don't exist. Then he meets a leprechaun, yes, a real actual leprechaun named Mick. Mick is on the run from The Goodco Cereal Company, whose slogan is "A Little Bit of Magic In Every Box!" and that's actually true. They suck magic up from magical creatures, and put it into a box of cereal. Scott has to find a way to stop Goodco from taking magic. Scott teams up with two kids named Erno and Emily (who is extremely smart), Biggs (who might be Bigfoot), Merle Lynn, and Harvey: the shape-shifting rabbit man. With their help, Scott will try to stop Goodco. This book is kind of random, and if you read it, I'd advise skipping Mick's stories. I rate this book four and a half out of five stars.
